I. Company information
The website, www.scandsea.se, is provided by Scandinavian Seaweed Company AB Org. number 559081-2847 (VAT SE559081284701), based at Truskärsvägen 7, 442 75 Lycke. Information & images on this website are owned by the company or partners and may not be copied without permission.
II. Goods and Prices
- Each item is stated with price including VAT in Swedish crowns (SEK).
Information about the goods, inclusive the prices of each item and their main properties are described in the online store catalog. The prices of the goods are stated including value added tax (VAT), all related fees and costs for the return of the goods, if the goods cannot, by their nature, be returned by the usual postal route. The prices of the goods remain valid as long as they are displayed in the online store. This does not exclude a purchase contract under individually agreed conditions. In the shopping cart you see the total price including all fees such as VAT, shipping and payments.
III. Payment
Payment is made through the selected payment method at checkout. The payment method is provided by Stripe with partners. Card payment is accepted by Visa and MasterCard. The money is reserved in your account at the time of purchase. Card payment to Scandinavian Seaweed Company is completely secure and follows PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards). Stripe has been reviewed by an independent PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and is certified as a PCI Level 1 service provider. This is the most stringent certification level available in the payment industry.
When we accept payments, we do so in a PCI-compatible way and we never see (or have access to) card data at all.
Payment can also be made via Swish.
Invoice
If you purchase goods as a company, we offer payment by invoice. To be eligible for an invoice payment, you must enter your organization number. Invoice has a due date of 14 days. After the purchase has been completed, the invoice will be sent to your specified e-mail address. The amount plus VAT and shipping must be paid in full to Scandinavian Seaweed Company SEB account via bank transfer. To be able to use this service, you must be an EU-based company at the time of purchase. For delivered to companies outside the EU, each delivery decision will be made individually. Scandinavian Seaweed Company does is not responsible for any customs duties ana fees in such cases.
IV. Shipping & Shipping Methods
A shipping cost of SEK 89 (within Sweden) will be added to all orders. Free shipping applies on orders over SEK 1000. (Applies only to deliveries to delivery point within Sweden).
We deliver your goods with PostNord. Smaller packages are delivered as a letter, larger packages are delivered as packages and announced by PostNord via text message when package arrives at the delivery point. For various reasons, the text message does not arrive, for example if you have not supply us with mobile number or you accidentally entered the wrong mobile phone number. Therefore, it is important that you keep track of your package. You can retrieve your package with the package ID in the tracking link.
Remember to pick up your package on time! Your package will be at PostNord’s delivery point for 14 days. Uncollected packages cannot be handled as a return under the right of withdrawal. If the package is sent back to us, we charge an extra fee of SEK 200 for our costs for return shipping and handling.
V. Deliveries
Orders are usually processed the next day and are normally delivered within 7 days unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to notify you by e-mail in case the product is sold out. It is then possible to cancel part of the order or the entire order. Alternatively, to get the remaining goods sent at a later time. For card payments, the amount is deducted from the account at the time of purchase and the goods are sent when they are back in stock.
VI. Damaged goods and complaints
If your item was damaged during shipping or if you received the wrong item, you can return it – always contact us before this is done via e-mail to the address info@scandsea.se and describe how the item is incorrect. Please note that complaints can only be made when the product is defective. Complaints are not accepted because if the scent, texture or function are not satisfactory, if the product does not deviate from the normal. We are responsible for the shipping cost if this happens.
VII. Right of withdrawal and open purchase.
As a customer, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days after you have received the product and the right to exchange it within 30 days from the day you received the product. The right of withdrawal can only be exercised if the product can be returned in original packaging and is in essentially unchanged condition. Always contact us at info@scandsea.se before returning an item. Send your return to: Scandinavian Seaweed Co., Truskärsvägen 7, 442 75 Lycke.
When exercising the right of withdrawal/ open purchase, the customer is responsible for return shipping. Return packages may not be sent against cash on delivery. If you exercise your right of withdrawal, we will refund what you have paid for the item as soon as possible, no later than within 30 days from the day we received the return.
VIII. Obligation to repay
If you exercise your right of withdrawal, we will refund the full amount of the item as soon as possible or no later than 30 days from the day we received the item. You must pay the return cost yourself when the item is returned. We pay everything the return cost to send back so-called replacement goods.

IX. Personal data processing
In order to receive, handle and deliver your order, Scandinavian Seaweed Company AB will process your personal data. XI. Cookies
A cookie is a text file that is sent from a web page to your computer where it is finally stored in memory (session cookies) or as a small text file (text-based cookies). Cookies are used to store e.g. login information or your shopping cart when browsing various websites. If your browser is set to not accept cookies, you will not be able to place an order on our site. You can easily change this under settings in your browser. Please note that we do not use cookies to store personal information about you.
XII. 1 Force Majeure
Force Majeure such as war, extensive labor dispute, blockade, fire, environmental disaster, serious spread of infection or other scope beyond the control of our party and which prevents a party from fulfilling its obligations and liberates a party from it. Such exemption applies provided that the business cannot be run under these conditions either. The other party shall be notified immediately of any circumstances that may apply to this situation.
1.2 Change of contract terms
After the customer has completed a purchase, the Sales Company does not have the right to change the terms of the current purchase unless otherwise agreed.

1.4 Disputes & Laws
Swedish law applies to all purchases in accordance with these terms and conditions. Disputes regarding purchases in accordance with these terms and conditions shall be tried exclusively by a Swedish general court.
